Played bass all over Alaska between 68 and 75. With Susan Rhodes for a short time about 73. Jose Benitez (keyboard) now lives in Vermont. Of course Larry Waldron, wonderful guitar and saxman, and all around good guy was killed by a bear at McHugh Creek sometime back. Dan Green (guitar) now lives and plays a bit in Nashville. Still have pictures of the KISS concert at the old Sundowner Drivein on Fireweed. Lots of fun back then.

John March played with Lee Tyrell from 1972 to 1975. Lee played a 'guitorgan." Their first gig was on Kodiak Island with Doug Tyrell and then Anchorage, Alaska. Listening to Lee brought back memories. Back in those days, we didn't tape their music. Is there any way that I could get a copy of these tunes to play at home? John March also played with Shorty Ladd in 1975, a midget who played a violin. I have pictures of them if you would like to add to your Internet. Please let me know, thanx

Wow! Does this bring back memories. I was working at the pines club with Susan Rhodes and Mike Majerus back in 1980 -1982. Susan was the lead singer in my band and Mike was in the "Pacesetters" I sure do miss it and wondering what happened to everybody. If any of my ole' buddies sees this, please email me 'cause I'd love to hear from you!

I was there with my Mom Anne Sevier who played around 1971 with Warren Johnson and the Rising Tide and she played the Organ (Hammond B3) with a Leslie and as a kid, nothing sounded better. Hope my Mom chimes in soon.

I think my husband sounds as good today as he did 36 years ago. Thanks for putting this sight together, and I agree with others that I would love to hear more. Would love to see pictures, then and now.

It was great to actually hear my dad playing with the Pacemakers back before I was even born. Thank you for posting these songs!

I played at the Pines from Aug. of '77 till about '83 or so, then went to Kenai to Russ's other club, The Katmai. Seeing the OLD Pines brought back a lot of memories of some wild-ass times.Thanks...MM
