I had the pleasure of hanging out with Ron Ellis who sang vocals at the Pines Club with Shirley Kimberly (69-70). Doug Tyrell was the guru for The Pacemakers at the time. Bob Antilla, Big Milt, Derek Newman were memorable band members. I remember Ron would get down on his knees to pray-sing "Stormy Monday'.
