I am looking for Derek Newman a keyboard player who was our best man at Travis AFB in 1967. We would like to renew our wedding vows and would like him to be our best man again. Any help in locating him would be appreciated. We have found our Maid of Honor just recently. Now if we could only find Derek. Thanks Jane

I picked up a bit more information on Mr. Monroe. Sometime during the 70's he played with "The Lady and The Tramps", a bad which included vocalists, Jill Verdell and Ron Ellis. He also played in several nightclubs in and out of Anchorage and Cordova. Thank you for any assistance you might present.

If anyone visiting this site knows the whereabouts of a drummer who played in several taverns in Anchorage, could you please notify me. His name: Larry Monroe. Last I heard of him he played at the New Chinatown Inn or something like that.

I sang at the Pines from 1981 to 1984 with the Pacesetters. I've been living in San Diego since 1985 and working in the band Liquid Blue (www.Liquid-Blue.com). Would love to hear from anyone who was around during that time. I last saw Nancy Lee in 2001 when my band came up to Anchorage. It's her birthday tomorrow (3/15). Anyone know here whereabouts? Saw drummer Tommy Deuvall in Dallas a few months back when we passed through on tour.

To anyone who happens to catch this and knew or played with Roy Day in the late 70s please get ahold of me. I'm starting the undertaking of cataloging his work along with the transfer, restoration, and remastering of his Artic Studio LP Far North Music.

I'd love to hear anecdotes about my late grandfather. No story too lewd... I'm well aware of his womanizing, ha.

  Great site. Thanks so much.
I was on the radio at KENI, KFQD & KJZZ during these days.
Someone mentioned the KISS concert at the Fireweed Drive-In.
Actually, a Savoy Brown concert with KISS as the opening act.
I remember Kim Simmonds so drunk he crawled on stage.
