I was there with my Mom Anne Sevier who played around 1971 with Warren Johnson and the Rising Tide and she played the Organ (Hammond B3) with a Leslie and as a kid, nothing sounded better. Hope my Mom chimes in soon.

I think my husband sounds as good today as he did 36 years ago. Thanks for putting this sight together, and I agree with others that I would love to hear more. Would love to see pictures, then and now.

It was great to actually hear my dad playing with the Pacemakers back before I was even born. Thank you for posting these songs!

I played at the Pines from Aug. of '77 till about '83 or so, then went to Kenai to Russ's other club, The Katmai. Seeing the OLD Pines brought back a lot of memories of some wild-ass times.Thanks...MM
